“Derek Sheen is a goddamn delight. So smart and funny it makes me mad. Tiny Idiot? More like Giant Genius”-Brian Posehn
“Derek Sheen has the uncanny ability to take mundane events and turn them into over-the-top comedy”- PASTE Magazine “As often as his crowd seems to brace for impact, they spend more time howling at his audacity”-Drew Hunt/Chicago Reader Derek Sheen is a cuddly mess of insecurities, a gifted storyteller, actor and writer. He’s quickly become a favorite among comedy fans all over the globe touring with Patton Oswalt, Brian Posehn, Janeane Garofolo and Rory Scovel! His debut album “Holy Drivel” was recorded by iconic metal producer Matt Bayles (Minus the Bear, Mastodon, Isis) and his NEW ALBUM, “Tiny Idiot”, was produced by the Grammy nominated Dan Schlissel. Both are available on Stand Up! Records.
Adam Pasi is a Portland comic who is quickly becoming among the most recognized names in Northwest comedy.
Born in Tacoma, WA and raised on army bases on the East Coast and in Germany, Adam’s unique outlook on life allows him to craft absurd yet relatable stories, culminating in admittedly ridiculous calls to arms. Adam has appeared on the IFC show Portlandia as well as performed on the Limestone, Wenatchee, and Bridgetown comedy festivals. He is a regular host at Helium Comedy Club, as well as co-host of a bi-monthly comedy game show Funny Humans vs. The Wheel. Frequently intense, but never taking himself too seriously, Adam Pasi encourages all who’ll listen to join him in his mostly imaginary, but always amusing crusade against... well, something. Whatever it is, being loud and silly is the only way to fight it. Dan Weber grew up in a town where the high school mascot was the Cheesemakers, which is funny until you realize it’s actually grimly prophetic. Dan has been many things, married, homeless, divorced, and dead for 15 minutes. He still is some of them. Dan talks on stage about all the topics you are supposed to never discuss in polite company. From religion to politics to life experience over-sharing, he leaves no sacred cow untipped. Dan also has a podcast and live show, Reading The Bible With Dan, where he reads and mocks America’s most revered book which has been featured at Helium Comedy Club and Bridgetown Comedy Festival. Dan has performed at Crom Comedy Festival, Beast Village Comedy Festival, Idaho Laugh Fest, Mutiny Radio Comedy Festival, Seattle Comedy Underground, Punchline Comedy @ Jai Thai and nearly every showcase in Portland Oregon and surrounding areas. He also likes roleplaying games but please keep that to yourself.
The son of Mexican immigrants, David Mascorro trained as an improviser at both the Annoyance Theater and Second City in Chicago. His unique upbringing and improv background allow him to craft vibrant, personal stories with energetic delivery and unrelenting punchlines. Mascorro has been featured on the Bridgetown Comedy Festival & Pickathon, produces several shows and podcasts (including Funny Humans, The Awkward Phase, and Bug-A-Boo).
Wendy Weiss is a Portland comic, MC and producer. She has produced, hosted, co-hosted and many shows in Portland, including Comic Strip, Who's Metal AF, Flyass Jokes and Buck Wild at Helium Comedy Club. She has written for Exotic Magazine, The Hard Times and MC's at The Kit Kat Club.
Alex Rios has been preforming stand up comedy for 6 years in Portland, OR and has traveled all over the west coast serving his oddball observations, sexually adventurous anecdotes, and tales from the kitchen. He has featured at Harvey's Comedy Club, Ventura Comedy Festival 2014, Idaho Laugh Fest 2015, Savage Henry Comedy Festival 2016. Rios hosts his own show at helium comedy club called loose cannons. Rios hosts two podcasts called chumba and wumba and this might be good. He is also published in Exotic magazine and preformed in the 2016 Seattle International Comedy Competition.
If you haven't laughed at a tattooed Tolkien character yet, then its high time you get on the Trevor Thorpe train. Trevor has earned such unsolicited praise such as, "your anger makes me happy" and "nice beard." Trevor, aka Whiskey Smurf, has opened for such comedians as James Adomian, Baron Vaughn, Brent Weinbach and Sean Patton. He was also selected to perform at the 2014 Scruffy City Comedy Festival and the 2015 Orlando Indie Comedy Festival and writes a bio like a 2004 teen writes a live journal entry because talking about himself gives Trevor a shame boner. Hi Mom!
